Articling and Summer Program
Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell offers a dynamic and challenging articling program for individuals who are committed to the pursuit of justice in the field of immigration law. Although practicing in the field of immigration and refugee law can be extremely challenging, it is also very satisfying and rewarding.
At Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell, we provide our students with practical “hands on” work experience, representing clients in complicated and often highly contested proceedings before the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, the Immigration and Refugee Board, and the Federal Court of Canada. Our past articling students have found that their experiences at Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell provided them with an excellent knowledge base as well as strong advocacy skills, not only in immigration law, but also in the practice of law generally.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Interest or experience in immigration and/or refugee law
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability and desire to advocate aggressively on our clients' behalf
- Dedication and initiative to achieve academic and professional goals
