Julian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University in 1998 making the Dean's Honour list in each year. He earned the Enzio Cappadocia Medal, a medal for academic achievement in his final year. He subsequently obtained a Master of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia studying the intersection between history and economics. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in April, 2003.
After completing his articles at a litigation firm in Toronto, Julian opened up his own immigration law practice in November, 2004 where he has represented a diverse client base with respect to a variety of issues before administrative tribunals and the Federal Court.
Julian speaks frequently to community groups from various African countries and Haiti. On January 22, 2010, he addressed the Haitian community at the Settlement and Integration Services Organization about the situation post-earthquake.
At Mamann, Sandaluk, Julian Jubenville represents clients in all Canadian immigration and citizenship matters, with a primary focus of his practice in the areas of immigration litigation and enforcement. Julian regularly appears before all three Divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board and in the Federal Court of Canada, representing clients in Detention Reviews, Refugee Hearings, Federal Court Applications for Leave and Judicial Review, Motions of Stay of Executions of Removals, Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds Applications, Pre Removal Risk Assessments, sponsorship appeals and Independent Applications for Immigration as well as other types of enforcement matters.
Julian is fluent in French and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
