Anthony received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto in 2005 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law in 2009. Anthony was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2010.

While in law school, Anthony represented low-income clients in the immigration and refugee law division of Downtown Legal Services, the Faculty of Law’s community legal clinic. During both summers of law school, Anthony worked with the United Nations at the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva in 2009 and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the Hague in 2010.

Anthony completed his articles in criminal law at the Ministry of the Attorney General’s Crown Law Office Criminal. During this time there, Anthony prepared legal submissions for the Court of Appeal of Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. Following his call to the Bar of Ontario, Anthony worked as lawyer with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association before establishing his own immigration and refugee law practice in Toronto. He joined Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell in 2011.

Anthony volunteers his time as an immigration and refugee lawyer with several community legal aid clinics in Toronto, including the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic for female survivors of violence and the HIV/AIDS Legal Clinic of Ontario. He is also on the board of Rachel’s Kids, a Canadian charity focused on educational opportunities for children in Sri Lanka and India.
