Ali Esnaashari is an immigration litigation lawyer with Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell LLP. Ali practices in all areas of immigration law, with a particular focus on matters before the Immigration and Refugee Board. Ali completed his articling term with Legal Aid Ontario, where he developed his litigation skills in the areas of Immigration and Refugee, Criminal, and Family Law.
During his studies at Osgoode Hall law school, Ali worked at the Parkdale Community Legal Clinic as an Immigration Caseworker. He assisted low-income residents of the Parkdale neighbourhood of Toronto with spousal sponsorships, family reunification, applications for permanent resident status made on humanitarian and compassionate grounds as well as other immigration matters. Furthermore, Ali played an active role in operating CILAC Pro Bono, Canada’s first legal clinic that focuses on providing legal services to the Iranian-Canadian community.
Ali obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology and Law & Society from York University. Ali is a native Farsi speaker and he is an active member of Iranian-Canadian Legal Professionals [ICLP].
