Before beginning her career in immigration, Sandra was a research biologist in the tropics and has had her work published by many prestigious journals, including Nature and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. When she decided to base herself in Canada full-time, Sandra found herself drawn to the field of immigration as it allowed her to continue to use many of the same skills that she had developed as a scientist, such as research, writing, attention to detail, and working with people from all over the world.
