USCIS to Accept Cap Subject H-1Bs the First Five Business Days of April 2018

FY 2019 H-1B cap season is almost here. It is anticipated that USCIS will again receive more H-1B applications than available visas – 65k regular cap and 20k set aside for foreign nationals with a US master’s degree or higher. Now is the time to start the application process to ensure your application is timely and properly filed. Any application not received the first five business days of April will not be counted in the lottery, and any application not properly filed will be rejected and not counted in the lottery.
