Catherine Glazer is an attorney practicing primarily in U.S. immigration, international law and human rights. She leads a U.S. immigration team on corporate and family-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas, humanitarian cases and other U.S. immigration matters.

Prior to joining our team, Catherine was based at a firm in Chicago, where she worked on corporate, employment-based immigration. She was also a consultant for the International Organization for Migration and a fellow at the Nansen Initiative for people displaced across borders, hosted by the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Additionally, Catherine has worked for a firm in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Catherine helped to prevent discrimination and promoted access to language resources in federally funded institutions with the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. She has also represented low-income clients on a variety of immigration matters at the University of Michigan Law School’s clinical programs.

During law school, Catherine was awarded the Dean’s Public Service Award for her dedication to the public interest and chosen by the faculty as the single recipient of the Hessel E. Yntema Award for her excellence in international and comparative law.
She speaks French, Spanish and Portuguese.
