Daniel Mandelbaum is a lead associate of the corporate immigration team at MSK LLP. It was his experience working with developing countries and in international law that inspired him to follow a career path in immigration law.
A master of multitasking, Daniel simultaneously completed his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor, and his Master’s of Laws in International and European Law degree from the Université Lyon III.
Prior to joining MSK LLP, Daniel worked at other high volume immigration law firms representing corporate clients. He also interned as a consultant for a not-for-profit organization, advising countries on trade negotiation strategies. At MSK LLP, he has overseen the growth of the firm’s corporate immigration practice, which includes work permit and permanent residency applications for employees and independent professionals, incorporation of companies, and business advisory services.
Daniel understands that a key determinate for any business’ success is securing the right people, so he makes sure to provide timely immigration solutions to help his business clients bring their key international hires to Canada.
Clients who work with Daniel appreciate this approach, along with his focus on their needs and his understanding of their business goals. He asks a lot of questions to determine exactly what are his clients’ short and long term goals, and believes in proposing realistic and cost-effective plans of action.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family. He is a true believer in the philosophy of “family comes first”. In his spare time, he can be found in local ice-hockey rinks playing a game with his friends.
