About Adam Hummel

Adam Hummel is a lawyer at Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell LLP practicing in all areas of Canadian immigration law with a focus on litigation. Adam has broad experience with written and oral advocacy, and represents clients at hearings before various courts and tribunals, including the Federal and Superior Courts, as well as the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB). He also has experience preparing a variety of applications, including pre-removal risk assessments (PRRAs), humanitarian & compassionate (H&C) applications, and work/visitor permits.

Before joining MSKLLP, Adam worked at a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto, and as such he also brings his experience in civil litigation to the firm, focusing in employment and estates law, as well as commercial litigation.

Adam obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University (cum laude), and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. While in Windsor, he was a founding member of the International Law Association on campus, and was an immigration law research assistant. He also spent a semester at the law faculty of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, studying human rights and international law. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2012.
